Alia & Elliot came all the way from Australia to tie the knot in the bride's hometown. After some skype chats it was wonderful to meet them in person, and they are some of the kindest people with big hearts. They had a beautiful afternoon wedding at the newly renamed Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, California. (Formerly known as the St. Regis)

Surprisingly, June in California is known to be fairly overcast, known as June Gloom, but we had a lovely sunny day ahead of us. After saying their vows under a delicate archway, the couple and I got to explore the expansive hotel. Well known for their elegant staircase, I knew we had to take some time by it and it did not disappoint. After the luncheon and reception we headed to a private beach for some sunset photos. They were so happy and relaxed, so it made for a good time.
