Last summer, I had an amazing opportunity sort of fall in my lap to be part of a photoshoot with some of the girls from ABC's show The Bachelor. Remember Ben's season from last year (2016)? The darling Caila Quinn (yes, even in person she's a sweetheart) had the idea to do a Taylor Swift inspired shoot based on the song "Wildest Dreams" with some of her close Bachelor friends. She wrangled together the creative team (linked below) and it was one of the absolute most fun days... [con't]
Read MoreAlia & Elliot came all the way from Australia to tie the knot in the bride's hometown. After some skype chats it was wonderful to meet them in person, and they are some of the kindest people with big hearts. They had a beautiful afternoon wedding at the newly renamed Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, California. (Formerly known as the St. Regis)... [con't]
Read MoreThis stunning Newport Beach wedding was like a fairy tale. Jessica & Trey got married in the LDS Newport Beach Temple on a lovely June day, and didn't quite care that rain was in the forecast. The gloomy skies made for some killer portraits though, so I was a happy camper. We wandered down to a local beach for some bride and groom shots, just before heading to a private residence for the ring ceremony... [con't]
Read MoreAs 2016 comes to a close, I'm squeezing in a quick "best of 2016" post to include some of my favorite moments and images of the year with Meredith Lynne Photography. I seem to luck out with some pretty amazing clients, so it's hard to narrow it down. I'm super behind in blogging a lot of these sessions so keep an eye out for those coming in the new year. A lot happened business wise, but also on a personal level... we bought a house! We live in a cute little farm town in northern California that probably has more cows than people, seriously, it's debatable... [con't]
Read MoreFrom the moment I met Amanda and Andrew, their energy was electric. Their love for each other was palpable, and they were so playful with each other. It made for some fun shots. I'm pretty sure I didn't even say very much during their shoot, as they were engrossed in their little world, teasing each other and basically just being the cutest people ever. This is what true love looks like you guys... [con't]
Read MoreI shot Britt & Trent's Engagements a few months prior to their bridals (check them out here). This day, we started out at a beautiful park in Long Beach and then ventured out to the cliffs at Palos Verdes. Although it was a foggy day, the photos turned out just how I imagined. Some trees at the park were in full bloom, showing off their lavender goodness, and the ocean is always a perfect backdrop. Take a look for yourself... [con't]
Read MoreI told you their wedding was beautiful, if you didn't catch their bridals the post before, here's more proof of how stunning the day and couple was. I love when you can just feel the happiness and love radiating from people, Kelsey & Tyler perfectly embodied that. This was their day and they wanted to celebrate it with those closest to them. I'm so happy I meet the people I have the honor of meeting... [con't]
Read MoreThe LDS San Diego is meaningful to Kelsey & Tyler, as her family was sealed in this temple. They don't live in California anymore so it was a bit of a destination wedding, and the rain held off just enough for these two to have a beautiful wedding day. The day before, we got together for their bridal session, and boy were they both BEAMING. They are the cutest, and I'm so glad Kelsey & Tyler chose me to capture they're happy day... [con't]
Read MoreThese two beautiful people came down from Utah and we ventured through Los Angeles to take some incredible bridal portraits. First, Palos Verdes, which never ceases to amaze me. With it's breath taking cliffs and views it's one of my favorite coastal locations. Brad saw his bride, Madison, in her wedding gown for the first time and it was the sweetest thing... [con't]
Read MoreSome rad photographer friends and I met up in the beautiful mountains of the Los Angeles National Forest and created a shoot just for fun. It's so important to take creative risks, especially as a photographer, and personal projects are a perfect place to experiment and just have fun. I think we shot for 3 or 4 hours and I could have gone all day. It's wonderful to get paid to do what you love, but sometimes I get so caught up in my paid jobs that I don't grow as much as I'd like to. So projects like this are perfect... [con't]
Read MoreHaving taken their wedding photos the previous year, found here, I was so so excited to hangout with the beautiful Meghann & Juan some more to celebrate their soon to be daughter's birth. See, in southern California there's a rare couple of weeks in the hills where it's so lush and green. It's magical... [con't]
Read MoreGetting to know Erin & Evan during their bridal session made me excited for their wedding. They were sealed in the LDS Newport Beach Temple followed by a lovely ring ceremony and reception with a darling backyard wedding feel. Many of the details were hand crafted which turned out beautifully. For obvious reasons, I had to start their gallery with the photo of Erin's bouquet... [con't]
