Newport Beach Photographer // Ryburg Family

One reason to love living in a beach town is all the destination families who visit that want photos! It’s tough to get the whole family together when everyone’s grown and having kiddos, so a family vacation with everyone here is a great time to get extended family photos. I photograph a lot of visiting families for this very reason! Plus, having a beach backdrop isn’t a bad idea. This beautiful Newport Beach morning family photo session is also a great example of morning light. Although the hour or two prior to sunset is ideal for the most golden, soft light, some families prefer morning sessions especially with little kids. We met I believe around 8:30 or 9:00 am on a summer day for this photoshoot in Newport Beach, so the light wasn’t as soft, but as you can see here it still worked out really well. Plus, the beaches weren’t very crowded yet. All these cute little kiddos made for a lively photoshoot, which I love. Check out all those fun candid moments.
